From the book — Chapter 6. Coverage scales inversely with thickness: coverage at t = (reference coverage) × (reference thickness ÷ t). Grout fraction = (a×w + b×w + w²) ÷ ((a+w)(b+w)), kg/m² = fraction × tile thickness × density.
